Who is responsible for your information

RCM IMPACT MARKETING LTD operates Budg-IT. For privacy questions, access requests, corrections or deletion requests, email selfbuildingni@gmail.com.

What we collect

We collect the email address you use to sign in, your project details, budgets, quotes, tasks, payment records, documents you choose to upload, and the dates you first and most recently use Budg-IT. Stripe processes card payments; Budg-IT does not receive or store your full card number.

Please do not upload passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or bank account numbers. Only add information you need to manage your project.

Why we use it

We use your information to provide your private workspace, store and show your records, deliver a Project Pass you buy, provide support, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. We do not add you to a marketing list simply because you sign in or buy a pass.

Our legal basis

We process project and account information because it is necessary to provide the service you ask for. We process limited security and service-use information for our legitimate interests in keeping Budg-IT reliable and secure, and we keep records where the law requires us to do so.

Where it is stored and shared

Project records are stored through Cloudflare services. Sign-in is provided through Supabase. Payments are processed by Stripe. These providers process information only to help operate Budg-IT. We do not sell your personal information or publish your project to the Self Build & Renovations NI community.

Retention and deletion

We keep project records while your workspace is active. If a workspace is inactive for 12 months, we plan to delete its project records and documents after giving reasonable advance notice by email. You can ask us to delete your workspace sooner. Some payment and transaction records may need to be retained for legal, tax or accounting reasons.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or erase it, restrict or object to some processing, or ask for a portable copy where applicable. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first at selfbuildingni@gmail.com so we can help.

Changes

We will update this notice when the way Budg-IT uses information changes. The current version is always published here.
